Interrupted Imola Sprint Race for Martinius

A jump start, stall and five safety car periods delivered a race to forget for Martinius Stenshorne. Lining up P16 on the grid for the Imola Sprint race, everything was up for grabs for the Norwegian.

A false start – which then led to a stall as he tried to grab the car back – compromised the race from the beginning as Martinius fell to the back of the field. Five separate safety car periods caused by incidents further up the field then hampered his progress.

Martinius finished 19^th on track, but a five second penalty for the earlier jump start dropped him back to 22^nd overall.

The 22-lap Feature Race starts at 08:30am Italian time on Sunday.
